A better night

Fall Break  = More Sleep?

With Fall Break upon us I was hoping for more sleep but I guess you can't plan everything. I am not too upset I wasn't able to sleep 7+ hours the entire weekend because I was able to nap a lot and just rest.

10/10-10/11: Thursday Night

On Friday my classes were canceled in the morning so I was lucky enough to sleep in and then go to spin class pretty rested. Afterwards we ran a ton of errands and then hit the road for about 3 1/2 hours to visit my Dad. I was very exhausted but unfortunately wasn’t able to sleep till later that night.

10/11-10/12: Friday Night

Gosh, I was so exhausted Friday night after all that driving but we went over my mom’s friend’s place and she was having so much fun so I didn’t want to say anything. Thankfully Saturday was really chill and I rested the entire day  so the almost 6 hours of sleep didn’t hit too hard.

I really am trying to sleep more. I noticed a huge difference in my mood, food habits, and overall attitude when I was able to get in a good amount of sleep but unfortunately one night of great sleep just isn’t enough. My goal for the next week is to really examine what is keeping me from sleeping early and if ways I can prioritize my sleep like I do with other things.
